Concerns Of Police Survivors Dollar a Payday
Usually this is reserved for Law Enforcement Officers only, but there doesn't seem to be any reason why anyone should be excluded from supporting this way. It only takes a few dollars from each of us to support the families of our line of duty deaths. Help us help our families by having one dollar a pay day deducted from your salary. It is easy through automatic payroll deduction. SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT THROUGH PAYROLL DEDUCTION Oregon Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) is a non profit organization supporting families and coworkers of officers killed in the line of duty. All contributions are tax deductable. For as little as the price of a cup of coffee! For more information, contact Carol Elms OR COPS Chapter Director carolelms@gmail.com 503.936.3567

Thank you for all the ongoing support of the Police Activities League of Greater Portland (PAL). This year, we will continue to provide crucial programs to low-income youth in the after school and summer hours including activities at Youth Centers throughout the area, Spring Break & Summer Camps, youth football, tutoring and more. We have attached our early invitation to the PAL Live and Silent Dinner Auction, scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Holiday Inn - Airport. Reservations are now open, although payment is not due until April. Several sponsorship opportunities are also available and items are still needed - beach homes for a weekend, baskets of goodies, and gift certificates for example. This is PAL's primary fundraiser of the year and all proceeds go directly to support youth programs. For more information, please call Meghan, Sarah or any of us in the PAL Office, 503-823-0250.
After we lost Z-man, his memory goes on. A Scholarship fund was set up in his memory and he continues to help others even after his death.
